People Are Like Flowers

Some are bold. Some are small. Some have all the reproductive parts. Some have none.
Some are colorful. Some are inconspicuous. The abundant diversity of life creates resilient communities. Here at Full Circle Herbals, our mission is to bring the sacred connection of plants back to people. We celebrate all flowers and all people. 

Land Acknowledgement

I reside on the ceded territories of the Ojibwe, Ho-chunk, and Dakota Nations (Treaty of 1837) which is now known as Wisconsin. According to the Native Lands map I reside in the lands of the Očhéthi Šakówiŋ and Menominee Tribal Nations. 

I acknowledge the land rights to hunt, fish, and gather in these treaty ceded territories. I think the land rights were unlawfully taken away as private land ownership took over these lands and reduced the land rights as outlined in the treaty. As a reminder, treaties are legally binding contracts between two Nations. I acknowledge that many Tribal Nations and the United Stations of America reside together.
