Green Witch Retreat

a 3 day retreat of herbal magic, plant connection, and garden witchery.

In Augusta, Wisconsin, hosted by  Erin LaFaive of Full Circle Herbals

Registration deadline: May 19, 2023

Witch is a word to be re-claimed . . .

Reclaiming the word “Witch” brings back the connection to the Earth elements, the sacredness of all beings, the importance of women in all roles.

Green Witches are tuning into nature and especially the plants.

“Witch” has often been associated with women who are closely aligned with nature and have abilities such as grow and gather food, honor seasons, predict weather patterns, track animals, and more.

Witches utilize their natural abilities with intuition, dreams, trancework, and other non-analytical forms of knowledge to guide them through life.

“Witch” has many reported meanings from “to bend, to change”, female sorceress, to summon, and to represent the town herbalist or wise one.

Registration

The retreat registration fee is $500. This fee does not include lodging, travel, or food.

Garden Magic

Once upon a time there was a vegetable garden in use on the grounds of the retreat location.

The garden space has been in a state of rest for a few years. We’ll help to re-establish the physical space as a garden for herbs, vegetables, and other magic plants.

As a group we’ll co-create a ceremony to set the energetic boundaries of the space and let the land, nature, and ancestral spirits inform us of what they need from this garden.

We’ll aid in the transformation with our energy, hands, voices, and other gifts participants decide to share.

Herbal remedy making

Let the Green Witch out of the analytical realm and step through the portal of enchantment during the session “Crafting Curious and Mysterious Herbal Potions”.

This is a unique and one of a kind herbal learning session to increase confidence and creativity for all knowledge backgrounds of herbalism.

Together as a we’ll create a “Green Witch Anointing Oil” to support your continued embodying the Green Witch after the retreat.

This is our vow. This is our way forward.

Being in right relationship with plants means  we speak with them.

Being in right relationship with plants means we listen: to their wisdom, their medicine . . .

. . . And we support them, too.

Erin LaFaive

Hi, I’m Erin LaFaive, Herbalist and Plant Priestess

Since my days of gardening as a child in Wisconsin, I’ve always been captivated by plants. During my teen years, I began my self-studies in herbalism – and like you, I was passionate about the topic, but overwhelmed with the information and a bit lost (and lonely) about how to continue.

I’ve been studying and practicing nature spirituality for decades. I believe there are multiple ways to use and experience plant life including the Plant Priestess perspective.

They soothed me in times of trouble. They were always there for me. It’s as if I could sense their encouragement.

I have experience connecting with plants from experience with gardening, working in three greenhouses, internships at arboretums, cultural healing centers, conducting research as an undergraduate and graduate student. Including 9 years teaching all ages and knowledge backgrounds as a horticulture educator with University of WI – Extension.
