How do I decided if the suggestions you provided are a good fit for me?

Since herbalism is not a prominent aspect of society in the United States, it’s important to know how to navigate this type of information. Some people might be very familiar with certain plants suggested for them. Other plants may be new to you. Here are some ideas to help you feel comfortable trying new plants.
Discuss the herbal suggestions with your medical doctor. This is especially helpful if you are taking other medications.
Do a bit of research on the internet about the herb in question. Here are a couple reputable sites.
